5 Days Zanzibar Beach Holiday

You will be met at the airport and transferred to Zanzibar Stone Town, the historic old city and cultural center of the island. This area has changed very little over the past 200 years, offering a unique opportunity to experience its well-preserved heritage and rich antiquity. Your stay will be at Tembo House Hotel, which features a swimming pool along with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and television.

After breakfast, you will begin a guided tour of Stone Town with our professional guide. This historic town along the Indian Ocean coast is rich in cultural heritage and reflects many significant historical events. During the tour, you will visit key landmarks such as the Zanzibar Museum, historical ruins, the former cathedral, and local mosques. You will also have the opportunity to explore the local market and experience the warm hospitality of the people of Zanzibar.

In the evening, depart from the hotel for a sunset walk along the Stone Town waterfront. Dinner will be enjoyed at one of the local restaurants, followed by an overnight stay at Tembo Hotel or Forodhani Park View Hotel.

Enjoy a half-day guided tour to Prison Island, starting and ending in Stone Town, Zanzibar. This historic island lies just off the coast of Stone Town and is reached by a short boat ride of approximately 20–30 minutes from the old town’s waterfront.

Prison Island is fringed by a beautiful white-sand beach and surrounded by a small coral reef, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling and sunbathing. Snorkeling equipment such as masks and flippers can be rented either in Stone Town before departure or upon arrival on the island.

Today, Prison Island is well known for its stunning views of Stone Town and for its giant Aldabra tortoises, which were brought from the Seychelles in the late 19th century. These impressive creatures can grow up to one meter tall and are believed to be several hundred years old. The island is also home to colorful birdlife, including peacocks.

Prison Island is highly recommended for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, diving, and other water-based activities. Remember to bring your swimsuit for this memorable experience. Overnight stay will be at Tembo Hotel or Forodhani Park View Hotel.

After the tour, you are invited to a generous lunch at your guide’s home, where you can sample fresh spices and fruits. Following lunch, you will be transferred to your beach resort.

Along the way, you will pass through Jozani Forest, the last remaining habitat of the rare and endemic Red Colobus Monkey. Accompanied by a local guide, you will explore Jozani Chwaka National Park in search of these unique primates. If desired, you may also walk along the boardwalk through the fascinating mangrove ecosystem. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Tembo Hotel or Forodhani Park Hotel.

Early in the morning go for the game drive inside Serengeti for the half day till afternoon then start driving with en route to Ngorongoro conservation area, on arrival we will visit the Masai boma where you can have an insight about Masai culture, then we will go to Simba campsite for overnight.
