Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp (3,000m)
Trekking distance: ~11 km (5–7 hours)
Highlights: Begin in lush rainforest, surrounded by towering trees, monkeys, and vibrant birdlife. The trail is steep but rewarding, leading to Machame Camp where the mountain first reveals its grandeur.
Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,840m)
Trekking distance: ~5 km (4–6 hours)
Highlights: Ascend through moorland and giant heather, with volcanic rock formations and panoramic views. Arrive at Shira Plateau, a vast expanse offering stunning vistas of Kibo Peak.
Day 3: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower (3,960m)
Trekking distance: ~10 km (6–8 hours)
Highlights: Trek to Lava Tower (4,630m) for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp. This day is crucial for adjusting to altitude, with dramatic landscapes and towering cliffs.
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,035m)
Trekking distance: ~5 km (4–5 hours)
Highlights: Conquer the famous Barranco Wall — a thrilling scramble with breathtaking views. Continue through alpine desert valleys to Karanga Camp, a perfect spot for rest and acclimatization.
Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,640m)

Highlights: A short but steep climb to Barafu Camp, the base for your summit attempt. Rest, hydrate, and prepare mentally for the final ascent. The views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks are unforgettable.
Day 6: Summit to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) & Descent to Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Trekking distance: ~15 km (10–14 hours)
Highlights: Begin your summit push at midnight, trekking through icy slopes under a starry sky. Reach Stella Point at sunrise, then continue to Uhuru Peak — the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement before descending to Mweka Camp for a well-earned rest.
