This tour is ideal for travellers who enjoy nature and want an authentic camping experience. Guests will spend their nights in tents at public campsites within the park. One of the highlights of this journey is visiting two of Tanzania’s most renowned national parks, which offer an excellent opportunity to spot all members of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Moshi - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and begin the approximately two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival in the late morning, you will complete the park entry payment and registration at the gate. In some cases, you may also collect your packed lunch before entering the park, allowing you to enjoy the rest of the day on safari. Later in the evening, you will drive to Ngare Lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park

On the second day, enjoy a transit game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the scenic highlands, with wildlife viewing along the way. Continue onward to the Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon and evening game drive. After the safari, you will spend the night at Osupuko Tented Camp or Osero Tented Camp. Registration at the gate usually takes only a short time, depending on the number of visitors ahead of you.

Day 3: Half Day Game Drive Serengeti Safari

On the third day, begin with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, continuing until lunchtime for a half-day safari experience. Afterward, you will drive back to Arusha for drop-off, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the highlands with a scenic transit game drive along the way. The cost of the tour is $950 per person. This short itinerary offers an excellent opportunity to experience Tanzania’s finest wildlife in just a few days.
