Visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a unique place where wildlife and local communities live side by side, and admire the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Continue to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and often called the true home of elephants, and discover Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its rare and fascinating tree-climbing lions.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pick up from your Hotel In Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport at 8:00am and drive to Tarangire national park (home of elephants) for a full day game drive where Herds of up to 300 elephant can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. Abandoned termite mounds often house mongoose colonies. All the main predators are present, but because of thick vegetation, not spotted as often as in some of the other parks in northern Tanzania. Enjoy all day game drive and overnight at Ngare Lodge.

Day 2 : Drive to Serengeti

After breakfast as early as 6:00 am you will Depart towards Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro conservation area with on transit game drive to Serengeti and arrive about early afternoon then proceed with day game drive till evening then overnight at Osupuko tented lodge.

Day 3 : Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast will proceed with an enroute game drive towards northern Serengeti for an introductory game drive till evening. Today you will see the beauty of the endless plains of Serengeti in detail as you navigate from central to northern Serengeti. Overnight at Mara Heritage.

Day 4 : Explore Northern Serengeti

Today is the day that we will go to the Mara River to witness the river crossing event, as you will wake up very early in the morning and drive towards Mara River to the crossing points. Get ready to witness the wildest actions. Overnight at Mara Heritage.

Day 5 : Northern to Central Serengeti

After breakfast will proceed with an enroute game drive back to central Serengeti, you will check in at the lodge, then in the late afternoon will take you to a great location to experience the sundowner. Overnight at Osupuko tented lodge.

Day 6 : Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Depart Serengeti in the morning with enroute game drive to Ngorongoro crater which offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, all the major safari animals occur in great numbers. The resident population of black rhino is a real treat, as rhino are very difficult to spot elsewhere in Tanzania. After game drive inside the crater, we will ascend to Arusha for drop off.
